Mrs. Sarsgard earned her Masters degree from the University of Maryland, and is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker; some of her specialized training in the areas of in the areas of child sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS, and attachment issues. Mrs. Sarsgard has had many experience some of which have been with Baltimore County Department of Social Service's Sexual Abuse Treatment Program and Children's Guild. She has most recently come to Family Connections from Center for Infant Study, a community mental health center for children 0-5 affiliated with University of Maryland's Department of Child Psychiatry. Mrs. Sarsgard has joined Family Connections as a Faculty Field Instructor, with the University of Maryland, Graduate School of Social Work.
