| Anne M. Faulkner, LCSW-C, received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. She provided public child welfare services for more than thirteen years with the Baltimore County Department of Social Services. In that capacity, responsibilities included child maltreatment investigations and in-home Family Preservation Services, instruction of parent and child education groups and development of a special treatment program for abusive parents closely tied to the Criminal and Juvenile Court systems. Prior to beginning her public service career, her professional experiences included working with developmentally disabled children and their families at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and clinical counseling services to children at the Carter Community Mental Health Center. She currently is a Clinical Instructor with the Child Welfare Academy at the University of Maryland, School of Work. |
