Gillian Gregory is the research coordinator for Ruth H. Young Center for Families & Children. She is also a family therapist for a community-based agency in Baltimore City. Her practice experience includes working with families and children in public and private foster care agencies. She has also worked as a school mental health clinician in the Baltimore City Public School System. Gillian’s experience in training and staff development enabled her to collaborate with the Baltimore City school police department to train officers in using strength-based interventions when interacting with students and their families. As a social worker, Gillian’s personal mission is to serve families in a variety of capacities that foster empowerment, self-sufficiency, and prosperity in all areas of life. Gillian is a licensed graduate social worker in the State of Maryland and received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, School of Social Work.
