| Dr. Terry V. Shaw is an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work where he teaches child welfare research courses and serves as co-investigator of a statewide evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of child welfare services. He has integrated his research interest in exploring the impact of child welfare federal and state policies on families and children with the design of a new advanced research course that guides students in how to answer research questions through the use of administrative data.
