Tiffany Williams is a research assistant for the Ruth H. Young Center for Families and Children.  She conducts community-based research interviews with participants of the Family Connections and Grandparent Family Connections programs.

Previously, she was employed as a crisis and suicide intervention counselor for the Crisis Response Systems in Prince George's County and Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  She has been certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. in group and individual critical incident stress courses in socmanagement.  In addition, she has provided intensive community-based case management services to adults with chronic mental illness at Green Door and Community Connections, both located in Washington, D.C.

Tiffany received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Howard University where she has also completed graduate level courses in social work.
