| Mrs. Vogel received a BA in Psychology from Lyndon State College and an MSW from SUNY Stony Brook. Mrs. Vogel ‘s range of professional experience includes working at the University of Maryland Medical School Department of Pediatrics with teenage mothers and sexually abused girls who were involved with the Department of Juvenile Services. She also worked with dually diagnosed adolescents in an inpatient setting where she focused on developing and conducting experiential based therapies. Later in her social work career, Mrs. Vogel worked as a family and child therapist in an outpatient setting and in the school system. She held the position of forensic coordinator at Spring Grove State Hospital and most recently, she was the Child Protection Team Coordinator for the University of Maryland Medical System through the University of Maryland Medical School Department of Pediatrics. Mrs. Vogel’s public child welfare experience stems from her work at the Baltimore County Department of Social Services where she was a Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigator, a Continuing CPS worker, a Screener, as well as, an After Hours (Night Service) worker. Here, she was involved in the development and delivery of clinical treatment program for physically abusive caregivers. Mrs. Vogel lives in Reisterstown with her husband, daughter and 2 cats. |
