Partnership with Title IV-E

Since 1999, Family Connections and the University of Maryland School of Social Work Title IV-E Education for Public Child Welfare Program have been partners in training masters level social worker students to utilize models of best practice in community-based child welfare services. This collaboration includes participation in specialized child welfare seminars, students receiving stipends and linkage with public child welfare for employment, and support of faculty field instruction positions.
